Douglas Lucania joined Premier Commercial Real Estate in early 2023 following a long and successful business career developed over the past two decades.
As an Associate at Premier, Douglas is able to leverage his vast level of business experience which often proves to be of considerable value to his clients and customers. Because of his many years as a business manager, he can provide a dynamic perspective and approach to his clients within the industrial and commercial real estate market. He operated his family-owned Long Island based industrial manufacturing business that owned and occupied 190,000 ft² across three facilities in Bohemia. During that span, Douglas learned all aspects of the business from bottom to top; including shipping, procurement, financial reporting and accountability, warehousing, inventory management and control, etc.
In addition, he also served in the role of “Landlord” to multiple tenants that occupied a 150,000ft² building in Farmingdale that was owned by the family. Douglas’ experience provides the foundation for him to be able to advise and connect with his clients and customers at a different and unique level that other real estate professionals are unable to provide. This is simply because as a former business manager, Douglas has walked in your shoes.
Douglas is an active member of Long Island’s Commercial Industrial Brokers Society (CIBS) and attended Hofstra University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Education. He is a home-grown Long Islander, having grown up in Hauppauge. He currently resides in Commack with his wifeJillian and his two sons Lorenzo and Leonardo. Aside from being passionate about his family, friends, and work; Douglas is an avid New York Jets fan and has been a season ticket holder for many years. In his free time, he enjoys attending concerts,traveling, and staying active.
